I don’t believe in diets or meal plans for health (unless it’s a therapeutic diet) and weight loss. I think they are methods of control that are bound to fail. There’s one big problem with diets for health and weight loss – they all focus on removing something, making us starve, and feeling psychologically and emotionally deprived.

Unfortunately, many of us excited with hope for a new diet to come out.

Why? Human nature… We want a magic pill! Guess what! There is NO MAGIC PILL!

I believe that diets don’t work for health and weight loss. If you can not live on that particular diet for the rest of your life then the diet won’t work for you.

So, then what is the solution for weight loss? In my opinion the solution for weight loss is going back to basics. Yes, it’s boring but it works.

I wasn’t always who I’m today. I have a little secret to share with you. I may be a Nutritionist and Fitness Pro today, but that wasn’t always the case. In fact, if someone had told me 15 years ago I’d be interested in nutrition or fitness, I would have laughed.

I mean, I was the woman who never exercised or understood the right way of eating. I thought I would be healthy and good looking forever, don’t we all?!

So what the heck happened to turn my health and confidence into a mess?

I gained 40 pounds on my small frame of 5’2”.  I was going through divorce. I was under stress. I hated my body and myself. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyrodism, hiatus hernia and acid reflex.

I ended up in a foreign country with no friends or family, and little English. I was all by myself in my life with my misery. My life was HELL!!! I could not eat, sleep or function normally any more.

And then one day, it suddenly happened. It was a devastating trigger of events. I lost my father to heart attack, my daughter was diagnosed with Multiple Scleroses. I had no other choice but to change my life around and help my daughter with devastating autoimmune condition.

I made a final decision and introduced myself to the power of good nutrition, mind-body connection and fitness. It became my passion and reason for living.  

I decided to put my Civil Engineering Degree back on the shelf and went back to school to get my education in Nutrition that became a passion of mine.

Fast forward 15 years; thousands of research hours, tens of thousands of dollars in education, two degrees, two diplomas, seven certifications, and hundreds of clients later; I have combined all my personal experience and professional expertise in a powerful solution that can finally show you how to lose weight naturally, even if you have a piece of cake or a glass of wine.
